Well, rituals are important. They are born from the character of the community that created them. They lay a foundation and set a tone that sets a precedent of what’s to come. So what better ritual then that of every new joiner into the Special London family having a cuppa with their own equally Special tea cup. Within said teacup is a handwritten aphorism that that new joiner abides by. 

A warm welcome, a keepsake, a reminder to be yourself, appreciate those around you all while eating Bourbons and cake, now that’s a ritual I can get on board with.
